At Trillium Pediatric Therapy, we believe every child has unique strengths, potential, and a natural capacity to grow. Inspired by the trillium flower—with its three petals growing in visual harmony and its resilience through the changing seasons—we partner with children and families to foster balance, connection, and opportunities for growth.
Through our individualized approach we help children recognize and build upon their strengths, and develop confidence and independence.
We work with, and alongside families, to create supportive strategies that fit naturally into their everyday routines. The family, child and therapist work together as a team to empower the child to bloom into their fullest, most authentic selves.
As a small-town practice, we are committed to creating lasting relationships with families and providing accessible, personal care.
Rachel Milanez, MOTR/L
I graduated with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New Mexico in 2012. I am nationally certified through the NBCOT and a licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Idaho.
As a pediatric occupational therapist, I have had the privilege of working with clients with a variety of challenges, including autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, sensory processing differences, mental health diagnoses, genetic disorders, behavioral challenges and developmental delays. My experiences have shaped my belief that everyone has the capacity to harness their unique abilities and move through obstacles when they are met with the right support, understanding, and connection.
My unwavering intention is to support clients and their families in navigating everyday life with greater joy, purpose and ease.
When I am not working, my spirit is most fulfilled by spending time with my husband and son and immersing myself in the outdoors. You can often find us hiking, gardening, swimming, or simply finding new ways to explore and enjoy the world together.
